Reiki is a Japanese healing technique created by Mikao Usui back in the 1920s and is a hands-on healing technique using universal energy transferred through the practitioners hands to the client. The Reiki energy helps our own bodies energy rebalance itself. It helps our minds as well as our body for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.

A typical Reiki session lasts between 30 - 60 minutes. Although the length of a session does vary, it all depends on the clients needs.
Wear anything that is comfortable for you to lay or sit down in. Generally it is recommended to wear something loose fitting, that allows you to relax and breath deeply in. You do not need special clothing nor do you need to remove any clothing for a Reiki session, except for your shoes.
Yes, this is known as Distance Reiki and can be as effective as an in-person session. You would just need to make an appointment and at the agreed time, wherever you are, make sure you are sitting/laying comfortably allowing yourself to recieve the Reiki energy being sent to you.
You should never stop taking your medication without seeking your Drs approval first.
There is nothing about a Reiki session that will interfere with conventional medicine, therefore Reiki works well alongside conventional medical care.
